Woolly good way to help char­ity

CHIL­DREN, staff and par­ents wore fes­tive jumpers to ACS Hilling­don In­ter­na­tional School in De­cem­ber to raise money for Save the Chil­dren.

The fundraiser was or­gan­ised by the stu­dent coun­cil and net­ted an im­pres­sive £325 for the char­ity.

Lau­ren Se­aberg, coun­sel­lor at the school for four to 18 year olds in Vine Lane, Hilling­don, helped to co-or­di­nate the day.

She said: “The hol­i­day cheer quickly spread through­out ACS Hilling­don on Hol­i­day Jumper Day. We were so pleased to see so many fes­tive, sparkly, jingly jumpers!

“Ev­ery­one was ex­cited to get into the spirit and also to raise money for such an im­por­tant cause.”
