DENHAM United Ladies U15s kicked off the new year with a convincing victory over Ascot Ladies at the Den.

United were 4-0 winners over the Berkshire outfit and the margin of the triumph could easily have been greater on the day.

The girls dominated from the start as defenders Gina Lee Annie Walsh and Kodi Spencer controlled the game from the back.

Such was Denham’s dominance, stand-in goalkeeper Jessica Stickley only had one attempt to deal with throughout the whole match.

Charlotte Parrett got on the end of a Kayleigh Currivan corner to give the girls a 1-0 lead on 10 minutes, with the provider soon turning scorer to double the advantage.

Currivan went on to notch a second to complete the scoring after Annie Walsh had sent the hosts in three goals ahead at the interval. Katie Riddington, Reanna Isaacs and Katie Ackerman controlled the middle of the park throughout and put balls out wide to Alketa Rragami and Yas Garcia to provide ammunition for the strikers.

The girls face Kempton Girls U16s this weekend in the Middlesex County Cup at The Den. EVER fancied trying water polo?
