A £17,000 machine was donated to the paediatric audiology department at Hillingdon Hospital by the Hospital’s League of Friends.

The new Eclipse Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) equipment allows staff to perform reliable diagnostic hearing assessments on who are referred.

Daniela Dante, head of paediatric audiology, is ‘thrilled’ with the donation.

She said: “It is now used in our clinics, and means that we can deliver faster test times with easy to read results.”
