Re-homing charity to compete for new grants

Harefield Gazette - - NEWS -

GRANTS for animal rehoming centres are now up for grabs and the public can nominate local centres.

To celebrate its 10th year, the independent animal charity, Helping Paws, has revamped the grants it has available so any re-homing charity can apply for 20 grants of £4,000 or £10,000.

Amy Wilson, charity manager at Support Adoption For Pets, said: “The tiered structure means that throughout the year there should be a grant relevant to every rehoming rescue in the country, big and small, starting with these.

“We want to appeal to as many rescues as possible in offering financial aid as every re-homing centre is hugely worthwhile, particularly area.”

Do you know a local centre that could use this funding? If so, visit www. supportadoptionforpets. Applications for both grants close on February 26.
