Get involved with the Daffodil Appeal
VOLUNTEERS are needed to help raise money for Marie Curie when it holds its Great Daffodil Appeal this month.
The charity, which helps people living with terminal illness and their loved ones, is looking for people to help with its annual street collections throughout west London on March 12, and at various other locations in the area during the rest of the month. Volunteers will be asked to give up a couple of hours of their time to help collect money from members of the public, who will receive the famous daffodil pin as a result.
The Great Daffodil Appeal is now in its 30th year and helps Marie Curie Nurses provide care and support for people living with a terminal illness in their own homes, so they can spend more time with the people they love.
