Please send your photos to ros.collins@trinitymirror.com and include your name, address and where the photo was taken. I EMPATHISE with Gazette readers over the chopping down/desecration of our trees! I regularly walk down Eastcote Lane, South Harrow (Field End Road, which comes under Hillingdon) and I was dismayed/ appalled, to count 22 trees cut down, in that couple of hundred yards, alone.

In these enlightened times, we are informed that trees are environmentally friendly, good for the ozone, now it looks as if The Grim Reaper Of Trees, has been let out causing devastation everywhere. Can anyone enlighten me, what is the justification for this?
