Police seize cannabis in morning raid on flat
HILLINGDON Police carried out a drug raid in Uxbridge High Street in a bid to send out the message that “drug dealing will not be tolerated” in the borough.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply after police searched the residential address on High Street, Uxbridge, on Friday morning at 8am.
Uxbridge South Police Constable, PC Fowles, says Hillingdon Police are ‘continuing the war on drugs’.
He said: “Cannabis was seized from the address as well as other items under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
“Two people who were on the premises at the time have been arrested for possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply and on suspicion of possession of criminal property.”
Both men remain at a West London police station and the police investigation is ongoing.
PC Fowles tweeted a picture of the aftermath of the morning’s raid, with a strong message to drug dealers.
