Doing their bit for Sport Relief

Harefield Gazette - - NEWS -

PUPILS from Vyners School in Uxbridge will be raising some serious cash for Sport Relief.

The students will be taking part in a Roller Disco event, a nonuniform day, a Bake Off, a Flash Mob and cake sales with the school hoping to raise as much money as possible for Sport Relief on the day itself Friday March 18.

Miss Thompson, Head of Girls PE, said: “Students and teachers at Vyners School love taking part in Sport Relief. It’s an excellent way to bring staff, students and the community together to get active, have fun and raise money for a great cause!”

The money pupils raise this Sport Relief, will help to change lives forever as Comic Relief spends the money raised to give vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Uxbridge, the UK and throughout the world a helping hand to turn their lives around.

Those schools that haven’t already signed up can still get involved in Sport Relief 2016.

As always, schools can organise a Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile on the day, but there are lots of other ways to join the fun and games too. The free School Fundraising Event Pack contains materials to help organise events.
