Man dies af­ter fall­ing from cen­tre car park

A MAN has died af­ter fall­ing from a shop­ping cen­tre car park in Uxbridge town cen­tre.

Metropoli­tan Police were called just af­ter mid­day on Wed­nes­day last week to re­ports that a man had fallen from a height at Cedars car park, Uxbridge, which serves the Pavil­ions shop­ping cen­tre.

A spokesper­son for the police said: “Of­fi­cers, Lon­don Am­bu­lance Ser­vice (LAS) and Lon­don’s Air Am­bu­lance at­tended.

“A man aged 44 was pro­nounced dead at the scene.”

Lon­don’s Air Am­bu­lance con­firmed that their ad­vanced trauma team were dis­patched at 12.08pm to a fall from height in the Uxbridge area.

The death comes less than a week af­ter an­other man died fall­ing from a bridge over the A40 in Hilling­don. A mo­torist this week spoke of how he com­forted the man as he lay on the road­side.

The death has been con­firmed as non­sus­pi­cious and a file has been passed to the coro­ner.
