FIVE Hillingdon Swimming Club members represented the club proudly at the Middlesex County Team meet, in Lyon.

Amy Grimshaw, Alfie Collins, Jemima Hall, Loulou Vos and Ceara Barber all made a splash in pursuit of glory across the channel.

They were joined by Hillingdon head coach John Adye, who was part of the Middlesex coaching staff for the trip to France.

The five swimmers performed impressively and were rewarded with a top three place and prize money that totalled 230 euros.

Vos and Berber also achieved five Olympic qualifying times between them.

Coach Adye said: “The weekend was a great experience for all five swimmers who are now set for success in the upcoming qualifying window for the British & National Summer Championships.”
