Man thought to be home­less found on street with head in­jury

A MAN, said to be a rough sleeper, has been hos­pi­talised af­ter be­ing found with head in­jury in Uxbridge town cen­tre.

Metropoli­tan Po­lice were called by the Lon­don Am­bu­lance Ser­vice (LAS) at 8.45am on Tues­day April 26 to re­ports of an in­jured man at High Street, Uxbridge.

An eye­wit­ness saw po­lice on the scene and de­scribed the in­ci­dent as ‘nasty’ and in­volv­ing a home­less man.

A po­lice spokesper­son said: “The man was taken to a north west Lon­don hos­pi­tal with his in­juries.

“No ar­rests have been made.

“En­quiries con­tinue to es­tab­lish the facts of the in­ci­dent.”

Lon­don Am­bu­lance Ser­vice con­firmed they were called at 8.51am to re­ports of an in­ci­dent on Uxbridge High Street.

An LAS spokesper­son said: “We sent an am­bu­lance crew and took one man with a head in­jury to hos­pi­tal.”
