Compassion eased my wife’s final days

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION -

RECENTLY my wife died in Hillingdon Hospital after a distressing illness. Before being a patient in the hospital she received excellent help at home from Social Services, district nurses, occupational and physio therapists but especially Dr Patel of the Medical Centre, Queens Walk.

On admission to Pinewood Ward at Hillingdon Hospital the whole nursing team, doctors and consultants worked with great concern and professionalism, keeping the family fully informed and making her final days as comfortable as possible.

These days the Health Service receive much criticism but my family and I want to thank all concerned with Moyra’s care for their compassion.
