Halliday leads the way
ANDY Halliday triumphed at Hillingdon Triathletes’ first 10-mile cycling time trial of the year in Great Missenden.
Halliday recorded an average speed of 26mph over a course which had been shortened to just 8.4 miles due to traffic congestion.
His time of 19:15 was closely followed by Paul Williams (19:18) and David Knight (19:20).
Sarah Darch was first woman to cross the line in 20:50, with Mandy Copas (24:57) and Siobhan Butler (25:28) in second and third respectively in a field of 31 riders.
