OFFICIAL BIRTHDAY: Uxbridge celebrates with The Queen

Borough community comes together

Harefield Gazette - - FRONT PAGE -

CHILDREN from Bourne Primary celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday with a concert.

Each class focused on a decade from the Queen’s reign and prepared an item from that era.

There were dance routines, such as the twist, as well as songs from the Spice Girls and Coldplay.

The children dressed in fashions from their chosen decade – there were rockers from the 1950s and mods from the 1960s, along with characters from 1980s films such as Wayne’s World and Fame.

The children thought it was great to dress up and a wonderful way to celebrate The Queen’s long reign.
