No action still to fix pedestrian crossing

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION -

THE pedestrian crossing in Harlington Road [Goulds Green] has not been working for around two to three weeks.

This crossing is on a busy road used by children and elderly people as their way to go to the bus stops on either side of the road also people going into Stockley Park.

The cars and lorries travel constantly and this makes it very difficult to cross the road, people run across the road which is unsafe and dangerous, making cars brake sharply.

Why has this taken so long to get fixed? There are signs stating that they are not working so they do know about it. Yesterday we phoned TfL and they said it was a electrical fault but they do not know how long it will take to fix. ALAN BURBECK via email
