Rubbish behaviour

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION -

TWICE in a week I have remonstrated with an elderly person who takes a shopping trolley full of household (and other rubbish) and dumps it inside, and outside the street litter bins.

The first instance was next to the Horseshoe Pub, Kings Road, S Harrow. After I had informed her that it should be distributed between the appropriate wheelie bins we are provided with, she then rained a volley of abuse on me, as though I was attacking her.

I was not! Lo and behold, she was doing the same thing again yesterday, at Kings Road/Malvern Avenue bus-stop bin. Again I told her not to do that. She will not stop until an official catches her, (hopefully sooner rather than later).

MRS B EARL Hamilton Crescent, Harrow
