Well fear not, as there are loads of events and ac­tiv­i­ties go­ing on in Lon­don this sum­mer that cost ab­so­lutely noth­ing.

From re­lax­ing on a giant boat, to free yoga, to the legendary Not­ting Hill Car­ni­val, there’s some­thing for ev­ery­one.

YOGA IN THE PARK EVENT

Why not re­lax and en­joy a free out­door com­mu­nity yoga ses­sion in East­cote?

AR­GEN­TINE TANGO AND MIND­FUL­NESS CLASS

Ef­fras­pace in Brix­ton is of­fer­ing a free in­tro­duc­tory class in Ar­gen­tine Tango and Mind­ful­ness this Au­gust.

NOT­TING HILL CAR­NI­VAL

Not­ting Hill Car­ni­val takes place an­nu­ally on the Au­gust bank hol­i­day to cel­e­brate Caribbean cul­ture.

Lon­don’s AfroCaribbean com­mu­ni­ties have been cel­e­brat­ing their cul­ture and tra­di­tions with the two-day fes­ti­val since 1964. Around 500 peo­ple came then, and now around one mil­lion peo­ple at­tend the car­ni­val an­nu­ally, with the event get­ting big­ger and bet­ter ev­ery year. ART AND AL­CO­HOL AT THE TATE BRI­TAIN

Visit a fabulous dis­play at The Tate Bri­tain mu­seum in West­min­ster to ex­am­ine the UK’s re­la­tion­ship with al­co­hol from the 19th cen­tury to the present day.

A spokesman for the ex­hibit said: “Cut­ting across time, gen­er­a­tions, class and gen­der, re­flect­ing chang­ing tastes and at­ti­tudes, al­co­hol and its con­se­quences are shown to ex­ert a cat­alytic ef­fect.
