TWO doctors at a Ruislip surgery have been recognised for their 20 years of training GPs when they were presented with ‘Teacher of the Year’.

Dr Judith Livingstone and Dr Cedric Solomon were presented with the Imperial College teaching award at a ceremony held on June 10 at Charing Cross Hospital in Hammersmith.

After receiving the award, Dr Livingstone said: “We are delighted to be recognised for our efforts in teaching students and training doctors.

“We are very much a team at the practice and every member of staff has contributed in some way to us winning this award.

“It is important for students to see patients within the community and this is a very important part of their education.”

Dr Livingstone and Dr Solomon are both based at The Medical Centre in Queen’s walk, which recently received a ‘good’ rating in all areas from the Care Quality Commission.
