IT WAS dis­ap­point­ment in the Chiltern & Thames League for Har­ling­ton bowlers this week.

They were beaten in all three rinks to lose out 44-59 to a strong Court Park team.

Betty Poole; Dave An­der­son and Don Maylin were the clos­est to win­ning a triple as they lost by a sin­gle shot in their face off to sig­nal an end to the con­test. n ARE you look­ing for a hobby to get you through the sum­mer? Why not try bowl­ing with Har­ling­ton?

Tony Waller and Chris Har­ris were win­ners of the County Pairs Com­pe­ti­tion af­ter beat­ing a Hen­don duo 27-12.

Add Paul Reynolds to the pre­vi­ous pair and those three won County Triples by beat­ing Win­ning­ton 18-11.

Steve Skin­ner then joined the gang to make up the team which won the County Fours by beat­ing Bren­tham 25-1.
