Hold­ing a torch for the air cadets

TO mark the 75th an­niver­sary of the Air Train­ing Corps (Air Cadet Or­gan­i­sa­tion) this year, a torch re­lay is tak­ing place which will fea­ture many his­toric places.

On Satur­day, the torch will make its way through Middlesex Wing and var­i­ous parts of Greater Lon­don in­clud­ing the RAF Mu­seum at RAF Hen­don, RAF Bent­ley Pri­ory, The Pol­ish War Me­mo­rial, Wem­b­ley and Twick­en­ham sta­di­ums.

The torch is due to ar­rive at The Pol­ish War Me­mo­rial in Uxbridge, pic­tured, at 12.50pm be­fore it makes its way to the RAF Uxbridge bunker at 2pm.

To fin­ish the day, there will be a sun­set pa­rade at Run­nymede.
