Two Mercedes stolen

TWO Mercedes cars were stolen from a drive­way dur­ing a bur­glary in Ruis­lip on Tues­day last week.

It is thought the theft took place dur­ing the early hours and the vic­tim posted on­line after the in­ci­dent to say the down­stairs of their house in Field End Road had been ‘ran­sacked’.

The vic­tim said: “I was wo­ken by my neigh­bor at 7am this morn­ing to dis­cover our house had been bro­ken into, the down­stairs area com­pletely ran­sacked and both of our cars taken from the drive.

“My hand­bags had been emp­tied and the con­tents were strewn all over my front doorstep and gar­den.”

Re­ports also sur­faced two sus­pi­cious look­ing ‘youths’ in Field End Road walk­ing in and out of front gar­dens in the early hours of Fri­day (Au­gust 12).

One of the cars, a dark blue Mercedes SLK was re­cov­ered with a smashed have of front, wind­screen bro­ken and cov­ered in scratches on Thurs­day (Au­gust 11).

A black Mercedes A180 is still miss­ing and po­lice have is­sued an ap­peal for any­one with in­for­ma­tion to come for­ward.

No ar­rests have been made but any­one who can as­sist the in­ves­ti­ga­tion is asked to call 101.
