Rapist claimed he was the Chelsea striker Loic Remy

A MAN who claimed he was Chelsea FC striker Loic Remy be­fore rap­ing a woman at her home has been jailed.

An­drew Robin­son, from Rose­bank Av­enue in Wem­b­ley, was found guilty on Wed­nes­day Au­gust 24 of rap­ing his 61-year-old vic­tim, hours af­ter meet­ing her at a bar in Hilling­don.

Po­lice sus­pect he may have car­ried out other sim­i­lar at­tacks in the past and are ask­ing any­one who they be­lieve to be his vic­tim to get in con­tact.

The 37-year-old was jailed for nine years and told he had to sign the sex of­fend­ers’ reg­is­ter for the rest of his life.

The Old Bai­ley heard how Robin­son met his vic­tim af­ter get­ting into a cab with her out­side a bar in Hilling­don in the early hours of July 26, 2014. She had spent the evening in the bar with an­other man who also got in the cab.
