Plenty of options after your GCSEs

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION -

WITH GCSE results released last week, I want to reassure anyone who didn’t get the results they were hoping for or anyone who’s having second thoughts about their sixth form choices that all is not lost.

Firstly, don’t panic. Take time to think about your options. Time and time again I’ve met students who are so focused on their chosen pathway that they’re not aware of the multitude of roles out there. At the Global Academy, we give students the practical skills to succeed in a career in the broadcast and digital media industries, meaning they will have a higher chance of getting a job once they leave school.

Once you’ve thought about your next step, you should create a tangible plan of how to get there. You can still apply for a place at that school, college or sixth form college as a last minute place might now be available. Just don’t delay.

Above all, don’t worry if it hasn’t worked out quite how you’d planned. It can often lead you on a different path to greater things.

We are a new school based in Hayes helping 14-19 year old students learn the technical skills for a career in the broadcast and digital media industries, alongside studying for their GCSEs and A Levels. Follow and like us and keep in touch at globalacademy.com.

We wish you the best of luck for your exam results and hope that you achieve everything you wish for.
