Prevention surely cure to fly-tipping

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION -

I FAIL to comprehend the logic of allowing persistent fly-tipping.

Harrow Council is more than aware that it is an ongoing problem, at the side of the first bungalow at the top of Kings Road, South Harrow.

Warning notices displayed on the fencing are completely ignored.

Currently there are two fridge-freezers and a multitude of other items, bed frames/mattresses and whatever else!

The weight leans against the bungalows’ side-fence, causing the council to replace it on more than one occasion.

Wouldn’t good surveillance prevent this happening, and money saved could be put to good use, like the overhanging trees everywhere? MRS MTB EARL Hamilton Crescent Harrow.
