Both Roaders shine
IT HAS been a great few weeks for Hayesbased Bath Road Cycling Club.
Graham Giggs recorded a time of 59.37 and Richard Willcox rode home in a time of 1.04.24 to kick things off in the West London Combine 25-mile time trial on the Amersham Road, Great Missenden.
A couple of days later in the 9.2-mile time trial out on the roads of Black Park and Pinewood circuit, five Bath Roaders were in action.
Willcox was the fastest here, with a time of (24.08) followed by Daniel Drye (26.49), Paul Devine (28.28), Nick Mann (28.48) and Colin Mann (29.27).
Giggs was then back in action, riding in the Utag 10 down at Liss on the A3 in Hampshire, recording a time of (21.04), which represents a new club record. He rode again on Monday in the Newbury Road Club 25 in a time of 57.44.
He then rounded off a busy few days by taking first place with (22.15) followed by Willcox (23.50), Daniel (26.29) and Mann (28.36) as they returned to Black Park and Pinewood circuit for another speed session.
