Harefield Gazette - - NEWS -

THE body of a man working at Heathrow Airport who was from Brentford has reportedly been found in the River Thames.

Mateusz Dajnowicz was found in the river near Kew Pier on September 22, months after he was granted UK citizenship.

It is believed his body was spotted by a member of the public.

Police confirmed a body was found in the river, but they are not treating the death as suspicious.

A Metropolitan police spokesman said: “Police were called on September 22 shortly after midday to a report of a body found in the River Thames at Kew Pier, Richmond.

“The body of a 30-yearold man was recovered.”

The man reportedly moved to London 10 years ago and was working as a manager at the airport’s cleaning contractor team.
