Thank you to those who rescued me

Harefield Gazette - - OPINION -

THIS is an open ‘thank you’ letter to two young ladies and a young man who didn’t walk by but came to my rescue when I took a massive fall outside Tesco’s in Uxbridge on the morning of Monday October 17.

I wanted to thank you for looking after me, caring for me, for your kindness in making sure I was comfortable and for speaking to the ambulance driver on my behalf and making her aware I was in need of medical attention.

I appreciate so much that you stayed with me until the ambulance driver arrived before taking me to A&E. Your kindness has certainly restored my faith in humanity.

Finally, this quote from Mark Twain sums it up for me.

“Kindness is a language the deaf can hear and the blind can see”.
