Man charged with mur­der

A MAN has been charged with the mur­der of Pardeep Kaur from Hayes, whose body was found on Satur­day Oc­to­ber 22 by de­tec­tives.

Vadims Ruskuls, 34, has been charged with mur­der as well as pre­vent­ing the law­ful burial of the de­ceased.

A search to find Pardeep was launched by the Met Po­lice af­ter the 30-year-old, who was re­ported miss­ing on Mon­day Oc­to­ber 17, failed to re­turn home from work.

Homi­cide and Ma­jor Crime Com­mand took over the search for Pardeep and her body was found on waste ground un­der­neath the Har­ling­ton High Street fly­over in Hayes, five days af­ter the search be­gan.

A post-mortem ex­am­i­na­tion has been car­ried out but the cause of death at this stage is in­con­clu­sive.

Fur­ther tests are due to be car­ried out.

Ruskuls, who is a Lat­vian na­tional of no fixed ad­dress, ap­peared at Hen­don Mag­is­trates Court where he re­manded to ap­pear at the Old Bai­ley on Novem­ber 7.
