Santa dash re­turns to Hilling­don

MICHAEL So­bell Hospice’s Santa Dash takes place next month and is the per­fect way to spread Christ­mas cheer and sup­port a fan­tas­tic cause for lo­cal peo­ple.

The quirky fam­ily friendly event takes place on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 3 as a group of merry fundrais­ers dash the one-mile from the char­ity’s shop in Green Lane, North­wood to the hospice it­self at Mount Ver­non Hospi­tal.

Events and com­mu­nity fundrais­ing man­ager at the hospice, Ophe­lia Cham­ber­sHenry, said: “This is a fab fes­tive event where fam­i­lies and friends can dash to­gether.

“Please help us paint North­wood red and white for a great cause.”

Open to all ages the dash costs £20 for adults (in­cludes a Father Christ­mas out­fit) and £10 for chil­dren un­der 16, com­plete with fes­tive head­gear.

The run kicks off at mid­day and reg­is­tra­tion starts from 11.15am at North­wood Methodist Church in Oak­lands Gate.

All pro­ceeds from the even will go to pa­tient care at the North­wood hospice.
