Gould leads veteran field on home turf

HILLINGDON Triathletes’ Ian Gould took the Super Veteran honours as the club staged the Family Winter Duathlon at Minet Park recently.

Gould showed the other over 50s competing the way home in the race, consisting of a two-mile run, 10-mile cycle and a mile run.

David Knight was the senior race winner, clocking a time of 39:35 ahead of Milan Misak (Serpentine Club) and Tom Miller (Imperial College TC).

Chiltern triathlon Club’s Rebecca Nikoane won the ladies race ahead of Karina Kaufmann and Madelaine Whybrow.
