Pimp My Jazz get party in the park started
Hayes FM presenter Hughie Dixon reviews the live band scenew
THE smooth, relaxing sounds of Pimp My Jazz hit Fassnidge Park, in Rockingham Road, Uxbridge this Saturday from 1pm, to spark off a one-off festive performance at the Rusty Bike Cafe and Bicycle Repair shop within the grounds.
The event is designed to raise awareness of Fassnidge Park and its facilities. This family fun day will run from 11am until around 6pm with face painting, a barbecue, hot chocolate and other attractions.
Pimp My Jazz will be performing on the bandstand between 1pm and 2pm with mostly original songs and possibly a few jazz standards.
It’s free entry and new vocalist Lea Lyle (pictured) will be warming the cockles of the park’s winter wanderers in true PMJ style.
Also, Pimp My Jazz have a new Christmas song available which you can hear it by searching for ‘Day Of Days by Lea Lyle’ on YouTube.
Be sure to tune into my interactive HayesFM radio show every Tuesday at 8pm to hear live and original performers, plus great tunes, chat and more local live music news.
