Hotels snap up students’ work
Pieces of art are bought from college
TWO prestigious London hotels have purchased artwork by Uxbridge College students to put on display in their buildings.
Lancaster London and sister hotel K West have bought a number of pieces by art and design students, following an exhibition of their work at the four-star Lancaster, in west London.
The event featured more than 40 pieces of artwork.
The pieces were produced to a brief from the Lancaster by students studying UAL Level 3 Diploma & Extended Diploma in Art & Design.
Art and design lecturer David Storer said: “This was an amazing opportunity for our students and Uxbridge College was delighted to be approached by the Lancaster to create this inspiring exhibition.”
