Three play­ers weighed in with braces for team

SANDGATE’s un­der-13 youth went goal crazy as they marched on in the Mid­dle­sex County Cup on Sun­day.

Adam Smith, Rasharne Gordon and Jesse Nyarko hit dou­bles in a 9-1 drub­bing of Bed­font Ea­gles with Vin­nie Os­bourne, Archie Chapman and Pat El Feghali also on the score­sheet.

The U14 Youth are into the quar­ter fi­nals, gain­ing their place at the ex­pense of club­mates the U14 Colts thanks to Archie Goodliff ’s dou­ble and one apiece for Daniel Boswell and Alex McDow­ell.

Two more Sandgate sides kept hopes of sil­ver­ware on the boil with wins in league cup ac­tion.

The U11s are just two games away from the fi­nal af­ter goals from Leo Stephens and Archie Brook­field gave them a 2-0 win over Oxshott Roy­als United, while Shar­man Bha­jwa’s dou­ble and a header from Wic­tor Genow saw the U10s se­cure safe pas­sage to the next round at the ex­pense of Lyne Chee­tahs, 3-1 the score.

In league ac­tion, the U8s had not one hat-trick hero but two as they swept aside Wok­ing Cougar Colts 8-1. Ol­lie Hunt and Harry Ward were the two young­sters left to re­solve claims to the match-ball with Harry Bridges and Char­lie Side their other scor­ers.

Tommy Ehret was an­other hat­trick hero in the U9s’ 5-2 win over May­ford Rebels, where Chris­tiano De Sousa and Chay Hud­son also found the net.

And U7 Colt Luke Burns also bagged a tre­ble in a 5-2 win over Eal­ing Youth. Vinne Ware­ing and Ma­lik El-Ghai­dini were also on the mark.

The U16s shared the goals as they re­turned to win­ning ways against Dun­don­ald Ju­niors.

AJ Davit, Abdi Ganamo and Mohamed Ali all scored twice in an 8-2 trounc­ing which saw one apiece for Valentino Buonanno and Matthew Hadley.

The U10 Colts were this week’s other win­ners, beat­ing Bed­font & Feltham Blues 2-0 with goals from Na­bil Mezali and Chouaib Hal­faoui, while the U7s drew with Eal­ing Youth 2-2, their goals com­ing cour­tesy of Har­ri­son Shep­herd and Frankie Buck­land.

Both other sides in ac­tion lost nar­rowly, the U17s go­ing down 3-2 to Dover­house Li­ons de­spite goals from Su­mail Rand­hawa and Luke Childs while Shae Cooper’s strike could not pre­vent a 2-1 de­feat for the U12s against Gun­ners­bury.
