FRUSTRATED Uxbridge FC came back from two goals down to lead 3-2 on Saturday, only to see two points disappear after conceding a last-minute equaliser.
Hosting Kempston Rovers in Southern One Central, the Reds found themselves two down within the opening half hour, and that was the way it remained at the break.
But three goals in 16 second-half minutes turned the game on its head, Abobaker Eisa scoring from the spot before further strikes from Davies Coker and Matt Woods completed the turnaround.
But Kempston hit back in the 90th minute to earn a share of the spoils. For Eisa, it was a second goal in a week, after also scoring in last Tuesday’s 1-1 draw against Egham Town.
In the same division, Northwood had no game at the weekend, denying them the chance to bounce back from last Tuesday’s 4-0 drubbing at Potters Bar Town.
In the Combined Counties Premier, late goals from Sekani McCalman and Rhys Rabees were scant consolation for AFC Hayes as they went down 5-2 at home to Walton & Hersham.
An Aaron McLeish strike was not enough for Harefield United as they lost 3-1 at home to Broadfields United in the Spartan South Midlands Division One, while in the same division, Hillingdon Borough were held to a 2-2 draw by Wodson Park.
