NAKED CYCLISTS PEDAL LONDON IN ECO PROTEST
HUNDREDS of demonstrators stripped off and embraced pedal power for what is thought to be the world’s biggest nude protest.
Cyclists gathered and bared all for the London leg of the World Naked Bike Ride in a protest against car culture and oil dependency on Saturday, June 10.
The route took riders through the capital and featured seven different start points at Tower Hill, Regents Park, Kings Cross, West Norwood, Hyde Park, Clapham Junction, and Kew Bridge.
Riders chose from short leisurely rides or longer, harder routes into the centre of the capital before they merged together into a 1,000 rider peloton.
People of all different shapes and sizes were encouraged to strip off and adorn themselves in body paint for the cause, and this fantastic selection of photos shows both naked and semiclothed cyclists embrace the challenge.
