Drastic state of the NHS

Harefield Gazette - - Your Say -

WHILST on a bus on my way to Harefield, last Saturday, I met an elderly gent, who enlightened me.

He was on his way to Mount Vernon Hospital, he informed me that he was taking some lunch, to his granddaughter (a nurse) as they do not have any catering service at the weekend! I said “That is appalling!” Many years ago, I was in Mount Vernon Hospital, for more than six weeks!

One of the reasons I am still here is because of their excellent care.

As the staff are in the business of saving lives, it is drastic if The NHS has come to that! Mrs MTB Earl Hamilton Crescent, Harrow
