FAMILIES ENJOY PLENTY OF OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES IN SPECIAL DAY AT FASSNIDGE
A FABULOUS family afternoon took place on Saturday June 24 in Fassnidge Park Uxbridge, when the Bandstand came alive to the sounds of the KCQuartet +1.
Old and young alike were able to enjoy a range of creative experiences including making
Suncatchers, eyes of the gods, bark rubbing, origami birds, mandalas made from organic material found in the park, crocheting round a bike, adding labels to Ian Watson’s amazing paper elephant or taking a photo through his wobbly man and dog sculpture. They could admire Yvonne Watson’s recycled flowers and Shivashtie Poonwassie’s ceramic mobile high up in the trees. There were also delicious refreshments at the Rusty Bike cafe.
