A MAN who died in a three-car M25 crash has been named as 60-yearold Daniel Dayalan from Hayes.

Mr Dayalan was travelling in a Vauxhall Corsa on Saturday September 23 when it was involved in a collision with a Range Rover Evoque and Ford Focus. The crash happened on the clockwise carriageway at junction 24 for Enfield.

Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, 60-year-old Mr Dayalan, who was driving the Corsa, was pronounced dead at the scene after police were called at around 9.45pm.

Two other people were injured as a result of the incident, including Mr Dayalan’s passenger, a 55-year-old woman, who was taken to an east London hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

Police say her injuries are not lifethreatening.

The 62-year-old female driver of the Range Rover was taken to a hospital in Hertfordshire with minor injuries.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the woman was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was taken to an east London police station where she remains in custody.

“The driver of the Focus was not injured,” he added.

“A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.”
