TWO killers tucked into a McDonald’s cheeseburger and fries after brutally stabbing a student to death in Uxbridge, it is alleged.

Mohammed Khalid, 20, and Neville Bowen, 24, visited a McDonald’s drivethru and tucked into a burger and a raspberry ripple after murdering Kyle Bowen, 23, in Waterloo Road, a court heard on Tuesday October 3.

Prosecutors at the Old Bailey claim the pair arranged to sell Kyle Bowen and his friend Dedan McLaughlin, 23, up to two ounces of cannabis for £200.

But the drug deal, near a boatyard in the street on May 6, turned violent when Kyle punched Khalid in the face and tried to grab the drugs without paying, the court heard.

Jurors were told by prosecutor Sarah Whitehouse, QC, that Mr McLaughlin ran up a stairwell and watched as Kyle was repeatedly stabbed during the brutal brawl.

“Neville Bowen moved forward and reached into the bag he was carrying,” she told the court on Tuesday October 3. He pulled something out, although Dedan couldn’t see what it was. He scrambled back up the stairs, leaving his friend at the bottom.”

She added: “He looked down from the stairs and saw the stocky black male – Neville Bowen – jabbing his hand in and out of Kyle.

“Dedan could not see the weapon. Mohammed Khalid then came up and started kicking and punching Kyle.”

The 23-year-old victim, an engineer- ing apprentice from Hayes, managed to stagger to a nearby friend’s house and murmured “I’m going to die” before he bled to death.

Paramedics could not save Kyle Bowen and pronounced him dead at 3.05am at St Mary’s Hospital.

Jurors heard CCTV footage and automatic number plate recognition cameras link Khalid and Neville Bowen, who is not related to the victim, to the stabbing.

They reportedly fled the scene in a black Ford Focus and stopped to buy fast food at the McDonald’s in Old Kent Road, Southwark.

The court was shown a receipt for a double cheeseburger, a raspberry ripple, a large coke and fries.

Bowen’s Ford Focus was later filmed arriving back at his Lewisham flat at 3.27am.

Khalid, of Sir John Cass Hall, Well Street, Hackney, East London, and Bowen, of Breakspears Road, Brockley, south east London, each deny one count of murder.

The trial continues.
