A ‘TRULY vile’ child rapist from Hillingdon has been sentenced to 20 years behind bars for raping two victims under the age of 13.

Jamie Ulrich, 29, was first arrested as part of an investigation into allegations he possessed indecent images of children.

His home was raided by officers from the Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command (CASO) and while reviewing his collection they uncovered images of Ulrich raping a girl below the age of 13.

He was arrested on June 12 and charged the following day, but a fur- ther investigation unveiled a second rape on a girl below the age of 13 and he was further charged.

All the offences occurred between October 2016 and June 2017 in the Hillingdon area. Ulrich had recorded himself carrying out the “hideous” crimes on both victims.

He pleaded guilty to seven counts of rape, one count of penetration and two counts of inciting a girl under 13 to engage in sexual activity and nine counts of making or distributing an indecent photograph of a child at Isleworth Crown Court on September 15.

The judge sentenced him on Tuesday to two consecutive jail terms of ten years for each of the girls he raped, and ordered he must serve two thirds of his sentence before he can even be considered for release.

Once released he will face eight years extended licence and be under a Sexual Harm Prevention Order restricting his access to those under16 and electronic media devices for life.

The judge ordered Ulrich not be considered for release until two thirds of his sentence is served

Detective Constable Paul Jackson, of CASO, said: “Bringing this man before the court required great courage by the victims and their families.

“I would like to thank them personally for supporting the investigation and allowing us to ensure Ulrich was made to face justice.

“Without their cooperation we may never have uncovered the full scale of his horrific abuse.

“These were truly hideous crimes on very young children.

“That Ulrich recorded the attacks is truly vile and I am glad this man has been brought to account for his terrible actions.

“Bringing this man to justice will protect young children from his evil designs.”
