Al­pha course start­ing soon

HILLING­DON Sal­va­tion Army is set to com­mence an Al­pha Course in the Au­tumn.

The Al­pha course is an evan­ge­lis­tic course which seeks to in­tro­duce the ba­sics of the Chris­tian faith through a se­ries of talks and dis­cus­sions. It is de­scribed by its or­gan­is­ers as “an op­por­tu­nity to ex­plore the mean­ing of life”.

Al­pha cour­ses are be­ing run in churches, homes, work­places, pris­ons, uni­ver­si­ties and a wide va­ri­ety of other lo­ca­tions.

The course be­gan in Bri­tain and is be­ing run around the world by var­i­ous Chris­tian de­nom­i­na­tions.

The course at Hilling­don SA – 125 Uxbridge Road, UB10 0LQ, runs over 11 weeks, com­menc­ing on Wed­nes­day Septem­ber 12 at 6.30pm, con­clud­ing at 9pm.

Each week there will be a meal, fol­lowed by a DVD and dis­cus­sion over cof­fee. There is no charge for the course.
