GOING WILD
THE NORTH YORK MOORS: A WILD YEAR Friday, BBC2, 9pm and BBC iPlayer
■ THE Wild Year documentary trilogy concludes with a look at how the rugged landscape of the North Yorkshire Moors changes through the seasons. Looking at wildlife and habitats, the programme follows Swaledale sheep as they cope with what the weather throws at them, as well as looking at wild red grouse feeding in purple heather alongside magnificent emperor moths. The whole series has been a delight with superb photography and evocative time-lapse sequences. Check out the previous episodes on the Pembrokeshire Coast (complete with cute puffins) and The Fens on the BBC iPlayer.
