KEITH’S FLAT ROCKS!
Foreign Secretary and Brexit backer Boris Johnson made it clear from an early age that he wanted to achieve high office.
Boris and his siblings were encouraged as children to discuss high-brow subjects, and his father Stanley says the earliest ambition of the young Boris was to be ‘world king’.
Such unswerving ambition has carried him far, from political column writer to being MP for Henley-on-Thames and later Mayor of London and, more recently, joining Theresa May’s cabinet.
His parents took Boris and his siblings all over the world and while Boris was born in New York he also called Exmoor, London, Washington DC, Oxford and Brussels
Keith Richards has realised you can’t always get what you want when it comes to buying and selling property.
The Rolling Stones guitarist first put his New York duplex up for sale in March 2016 but has since had to drop the price by more than $1 million in an attempt to sell it. Wild horses couldn’t drag buyers to part with the $12.23 million first demanded for the three-bedroom penthouse in Greenwich Village, but now that the price tag has been reduced to $10.995 million the property is likely to achieve a lot more interest.
Keith and his wife Patti Hansen bought the apartment, which features funky rock royalty styling and stunning views of Washington Park Square, back in February 2014.
The spacious, 2,700 sq ft apartment features three bedrooms, four bathrooms, three terraces and a fully-integrated Sonos sound system.
Keith Richards’ apartment is for sale at $10.995 million via Douglas Elliman Real Estate (00 1 212 891 7676).
