BROADWAY ON THE BIG SCREEN

SHERIDAN SMITH’S West End smash Funny Girl is to get a nationwide cinema release.

She starred in the London production of the musical about Broadway comedy star Fanny Brice and then appeared in the UK tour. The show was filmed at the Manchester Palace Theatre and will now be shown in cinemas on October 24.

Sheridan, pictured, says: “I’m beyond excited to be able to share our production of Funny Girl with audiences across the UK.”

THE BARE FACTS

JULIAN CLARY, right, says he is preparing to bare his soul in the interests of light entertainm­ent in his new UK tour Born To Mince.

He says: “Are you ready for some filth? I know I am. It’s been a while since I sallied forth to pleasure the provinces with my particular brand of saucy innuendo. Let me at them!”

The 2019 tour kicks off in March with a final performanc­e at the London Palladium in June.

The show at the Apollo Theatre runs from December 6 until January 6 and includes incredible stunts, crazy experiment­s and amazing facts as the doctors explore the world of biology.
