ALICE’S DAILY FOOD PLAN

Health & Fitness - - Loving My Body -

Meet Alice ‘I always start with a coffee and a protein-packed breakfast to fuel my body for the day ahead. I’m a huge fan of eating eggs for breakfast, so a typical meal would be buttery scrambled eggs on toast with some greens.’

‘My mornings can be busy with clients but I’ll always have a snack at around 11am to tide me over until lunch. A favourite is Greek yoghurt with fruit or a handful of nuts.’

Lunches are simple. I base each one around a good source of carbohydrate and protein, which I usually make in advance. Grilled salmon, turkey or chicken with sweet potato and veg won’t win awards for presentation but does the trick.’

‘By 4pm, I usually hanker after another snack. I use protein shakes for convenience, so having one of those in the afternoon ensures I’m feeling full until dinner.’

‘I eat dinner at about 8pm. Like lunch, the meal is based around a good source of protein, carbohydrates and fats, as well as loads of veg. A typical meal would be grilled salmon with wholegrain rice, roasted turmeric spiced cauliflower and fresh chopped coriander.’

‘After dinner, I always fancy a sweet treat, so I finish with a dessert. My favourite is Greek yoghurt with frozen raspberries and nut butter drizzled on top. It tastes like ice cream and is the best way to end the day!’
