Do you know how many food ingredients you eat each day? According to a poll of 2,000 people by Ryvita, Brits estimate they’re eating and drinking around 37 ingredients per day. Sound right to you? We actually consume a whopping 121 ingredients on average every day, many of which are less-than-healthy. The reason could be that one in four people don’t check food labels when hitting the shops, combined with staples such as cornflakes and canned soup containing about 10 ingredients each. So, check the labels – or even better, cook your meals from scratch!
