What? Agatha Christie’s 1934 mur­der mys­tery has been adapted for the screen twice be­fore – in 1974 and 2001 – but never has it boasted a cast as stel­lar as the one di­rec­tor Ken­neth Branagh has as­sem­bled for this one. The story fol­lows de­tec­tive Her­cule Poirot, who’s travelling across Europe by train when the un­savoury man in the com­part­ment next-door to him is mur­dered. With ev­ery pas­sen­ger a sus­pect, the Bel­gian sleuth is in a race against time to dis­cover who­dun­nit. Who? Branagh him­self takes the lead role of Poirot, and his co-stars in­clude Dame Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Olivia Col­man, Pené­lope Cruz, Josh Gad, Daisy Ri­d­ley, Willem Dafoe and Michelle Pfeif­fer.
