The Beckhams booked the luxury Amanjena Resort (left, Aman.com) for David’s big 4-0. The hotel is seriously VIP and has social areas where you can cosy up by the fire pit in a Moroccan tent or enjoy a spa treatment. Alternatively, the nearby Villa Des Golfs (Lavilladesgolfs.com) sleeps 22 and has its own private pool, so it’s perfect for a big celebration. The heart of Marrakech is just ten minutes away and the hosts are happy to organise activities, from quad biking to private dining. Use of the whole villa costs £940 a night, which works out at around £43 per person.
