HOW HE MADE IT: Last year, we had Ed’s wealth pegged at £52m. The scruffbag troubadour’s nearly doubled that thanks to big bucks rolling in from third album ÷ (6m copies sold) and ticket sales from his £225mgrossing two-year world tour. Despite this, he could be missing out on £20m of royalties from
Shape Of You after payments were frozen due to an ongoing copyright case.
HOW HE SPENDS IT: Since buying his sprawling Suffolk estate in 2012, Ed has added a treehouse, cinema, “hobbit hole” man cave and pub with its own underground access tunnel. He’s also snapped up four neighbouring properties to make the country pile even bigger (locals dub it “Sheeranville”), and bought a new £20m eight-bedroom London home, too. Doubtless, he saves even more cash with his “High Five” Nando’s Black Card, which promises free chicken for him and five friends.
