Experts discuss advances in MS treatment

A TEAM of renowned multiple sclerosis specialists will be in Torquay to speak to those affected by the condition at the Grand Hotel on September 29.

South Devon MS Society Group president, Professor Jeremy Hobart, will be joined by fellow neurologists Prof Gavin Giovannoni of Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Dr Klaus Schmierer of Queen Mary University of London, Dr Rachel Farrell of University College London, Djordje Gveric from the MS Register and Torbay Hospital’s Dr Agne Straukiene to deliver the talks.

South Devon MS Society Group volunteer Christina Montanjees said: “The speakers are among those leading the way in the world of MS research and the event is an opportunity for the South West community to hear about the advances in MS treatment from international specialists.”
